SOLTA O JOGO
Solta o Jogo” (Release the Game) – was created by Capoeira Master – Marcus Cabeca & his students back in 2023 with the intent of creating a Capoeira competition that would be loyal to the roots and traditions of Capoeira, however with an innovative approach and a structure that would promote Capoeira in a positive way to the Capoeira community as well as the general public.
• The 1st & ONLY Collective Capoeira Competition in the world, attracting UK and international competitors, participants, performers and VIP guests.
• Now in its third edition, after successful 2023 and 2024 events
• Teams of three compete in seven categories spread onto: Kids, Teens, Adults & Experts over two days of event
• Afro-Brazilian Cultural Show in between each category, featuring: Afro Dance; Brazilian Drumming & Samba; Capoeira Acrobatics Show
• Afro-Brazilian Fayre with over 15 vendors selling: Brazilian Traditional Food; Jollof Rice; Arts & Craft
• Hosted in the award winning Kingston University Town House building for the third year
• Broadcasted live in multiple social media platforms reaching over 200.000 views around the globe
• Presence confirmed of: Mayor of Kingston; Kingston Cllrs presenting medals & Trophies to competitors; Leader of Kingston Council; GLA Representatives; Brazilian General Council in London;

Samba Spectacle: Feel the heat and join the party as the world-class Paraiso Samba School takes the stage! Their dazzling costumes, infectious drumming, and incredible Samba dancers will transport you straight to the Carnival in Rio. It's a pulsating, joyous performance you absolutely won't want to miss.
Afro-Brazilian Fayer
Join us at the Afro-Brazilian Fayre for a feast of flavour and culture! Forget the usual and treat yourself to authentic, traditional Brazilian food, sweet cakes and baked goods, and energising Açaí. Plus, enjoy the spectacle of Capoeira, browse stunning arts and crafts, and find unique baby accessories. It's a taste of Brazil you won't want to miss!
