Solta O Jogo

Councillor Mariana Goncalves is a Liberal Democrat councillor representing the Tolworth ward in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, having been elected in May 2022. She is a member of both the Audit, Governance and Standards Committee and the Surbiton Neighbourhood Committee, where she maintains a record of perfect attendance. Her presence highlights the importance of diversity and representation in local government, and she continues to be an advocate for community engagement, transparency, and inclusivity, making her a valued leader both within Kingston and to the wider Brazilian community in the UK. As the only Brazilian councillor in the UK, and we are proud to have her attend Solta o Jogo as a VIP.
